CLIENT: Richstone Properties

LOCATION: Walpole House, Kew Road, London.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Design and installation of fresh air and air conditioning to all areas. To meet the clients stringent design specification, the entire installation had to be discreet with minimal impact on the interior design of this high end residential property.

SCOPE OF WORK:

Restaurant Heating and Cooling

Heating and cooling  provided by 4 No. Mitsubishi cassette units located in the restaurant area and one wall mounted unit located in the manager’s office. Controls for the restaurant located in the manager’s office. Interconnecting refrigeration pipework and cabling supported on cable tray with all condensers located in the plant room. An Air bloc door heater situated immediately above the entrance door.

Kitchen Ventilation

A Britannia stainless steel, extract canopy with an Ansul fire suppression system provides the extract ventilation. UVO systems are situated above the cold rooms and are connected to the Ducting running at high level rising through the building and along the corridor to the plant room where the ESP and extraction fan are situated.

Fresh air is supplied via an electric fan and duct mounted heater battery sited in the ceiling space/bulk head of the restaurant providing heated fresh air via ductwork.  The fresh air ductwork runs through the building branching of into the back of house supplying fresh air to all areas and running through to the kitchen where it discharges through various grilles and the canopy.

Toilet Extraction

Toilet Extraction is provided by one Helios extract fan in which the ductwork extracts dirty air from all back of house areas. The ducting including fire dampers follows the corridor around passing through the building to the west plant room were the fan is situated.

LOCATION: Rayleigh, Essex

SCOPE OF WORK:

Restaurant Heating and Cooling

Heating and cooling provided by 2 No. Daikin “Roundflow” compact ceiling cassettes located in the restaurant. Controls located in the manager’s office. Interconnecting refrigeration pipework and cabling supported on pipe clips with both condensers located on the side wall.

Kitchen Ventilation

Fresh air supplied via a Helios GBW400/4 box fan and heater batteries providing heated fresh air via ductwork running in the roof/ceiling void.

Kitchen Extraction

Extraction by means of two hoods, one in the main kitchen cook area and one in the wash up area, via a Helios GBW450/4 box fan into a riser to the roof.

Toilet Extraction

Toilet Extraction provided by one Elta HIT315B extract fan in which the ductwork extracts dirty air from all areas of the toilets. This is then exhausted via a louvre in the dormer to outside.

The disabled toilet is served by a wall mounted Expelair DX100
